In 2015, James and Michelle sought refuge from suburban life and the demands of their business by acquiring this unique property. In those initial days, the landscape was generally neglected, and the grassland was overly grazed by cattle.

 

Over time, they built the necessary fences, dams, and sheds, established gardens, and planted hundreds of native trees. Driven by a vision for regeneration, they dedicated themselves to improving the land. Recognizing the importance of conservation, they also aligned with Land for Wildlife, securing grants from the council to rejuvenate unique rainforest areas.

 

While James and Michelle are new to farm life, they are embracing the regenerative agriculture movement, and actively applying its principles to enhance soil quality and foster biodiversity. Their commitment extends beyond their farm, as they aspire to inspire others seeking a more harmonious way of living.
